History

In 1978 Orissa Drebing NL as branch office of Orissa Drebing GmbH in Hamburg Germany, was founded by Mr. Raymond Vredevoort.

Raymond Vredevoort was already since 1975 active in the cosmetic, detergent and industrial markets as  key account manager for an international German surfactant company. He believed the combination of surfactants and fragrances was complementary to each product groups. In 1994 Raymond Vredevoort decided to continue only work for his own company Orissa. At the same time, he also decided to change the name of his company into Orissa Vredevoort & Dochters, to encourage his daughters to join him. Besides the representation of the fragrance company, Raymond Vredevoort also started working with other cosmetic ingredient suppliers. In 2000 his youngest daughter Mariska Vredevoort joined the company, which resulted that she took over the company in 2004.
